Panaji: December 23, 2025::District Magistrate, North Goa has banned the digging / cutting of all types of roads in and around Zuari Bridge to Taj Cidade de Goa, Horizon, Dona Paula via GMC Bambolim, without the permission of the DM, North. Also, only Applications/ requests of road cutting activities of general public, Government Departments and others which are emergent/ urgent in nature for the purpose of water, sewerage, electrical connection and others are to be addressed to the concerned Departments which shall be forwarded to the DM, North along with the recommendation and justification for further action in the matter. Any person, agency or department etc. contravening this order shall be held liable for punishment under Section 223 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. This order shall come into force on December 27, 2025 and shall remain in force till 10.00 am on December 28, 2025.
