Goan Reporter::DEO, NORTH ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE FOR CLAIMS AND OBJECTIONS TOWARDS SIR 2026

Panaji: December 26, 2025::The Election Commission of India has announced a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls with January 01, 2026 as the qualifying date for the State of Goa. As per the schedule issued by the Election Commission of India, the phase for filing Claims and Objections and the Notice Phase regarding issuance of notices, hearings, verification, decision on Enumeration Forms, and disposal of claims and objections concurrently by the Electoral Registration Officer has commenced. Period for filing claims and objections has already started from December 16, 2025 (Tuesday) to January 15, 2026 (Thursday),  Notice Phase like Issuance, hearing and verification & decision on Enumeration Forms and disposal of claim and objection to be done concurrently by the EROs has also started from December 16, 2025 (Tuesday) to February 07, 2026 (Saturday), Checking of health parameters of electoral rolls and obtaining Commission’s permission for final publication will be done by February 10, 2026 (Tuesday), Final Publication of Electoral Roll will be on February 14, 2026 (Saturday).  The Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) of 01 to 19 Assembly Constituencies of North Goa District will conduct hearings for the claims & Objection and Notice Phase at each Assembly Constituency such as AC 01-Mandrem, Office of the Joint Mamlatdar-I of Pernem Taluka & AERO for 01-Mandrem AC; 02-Pernem, Government Complex, 1st Floor, Court Room of Deputy Collector (SDM) & ERO of 02-Pernem AC; 03-Bicholim, Panchayat Hall, Village Panchayat Salem, (Hearing venue for Part No. 06 to 10) and the Conference Hall of Bicholim Municipal council (Hearing venue for part No. 1 to 5 & 11 to 43); 04-Tivim, Ground Floor, Govt. Complex Mapusa Bardez; 05-Mapusa, Chamber of Main Mamlatdar, Office of the Mamlatdar of Bardez; 06-Siolim, O/o Dy. Collector and SDM 1 Bardez and Office of the Joint Mamlatdar -II of Bardez Taluka & AERO for 06 Siolim AC; 07-Saligao, 1st Floor Hall of Village Panchayat Pilerne Marra, Pilerne, Bardez; 08-Calangute, 1st floor Hall of Refurbished Mapusa Municipal Library, Mapusa; 09-Porvorim, O/o Deputy Director, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Porvorim; 10-Aldona, Ground floor of Old municipal building Mapusa, Opp. Library Room, Mapusa; 11-Panaji, Court Room of Dy. Collector & SDM, Tiswadi and Office of the Mamlatdar of Tiswadi; 12-Taliegao, O/o Assistant Director, (Training) Department of Handicraft, Textile & Coir, Patto Panaji; 13-St.Cruz, Recreation cum Health Centre Hall, Opp. Merces Church, Merces; 14-St. Andre, Conference Room, Ground floor, Village Panchayat Neura; 15-Cumbarjua, Panchayat Hall, First Floor, Office of the Village Panchayat Se Old Goa, Tiswadi; 16-Маem, Court Room of Deputy Collector S.D.M & S.D.O Bicholim; 17-Sanquelim, O/o Chief Officer Sankhalim Municipal Council, Sankhalim; 18-Poriem, Office of the Deputy Collector and Sub-Divisional Officer and Magistrate, Sattari Sub Division, Valpoi; 19-Valpoi, Office of the Mamlatdar of Sattari Taluka, Valpoi Sattari.    All the voters if they have received any notice from the BLOs/EROs of their respective parts or Assembly Constituencies are requested to visit the respective hearing venue and are advised to carry relevant documents while attending the hearing.
