Department of Information Technology, Electronic and Communications has released the Draft Goa Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy 2026, for the State of Goa with the objective of fostering a robe inclusive, and innovation-driven Al ecosystem in the State

The Draft Goa Al Policy 2026, outlines the State’s vision to position Goa as a leading hub for Artificial Intelligence by focusing on key pillars such as skills and capacity building, startups and Industry Enablement, capital and Investment Promotion, Policy, Governance and Digital Infrastructure.

The draft policy document will be made available from May 04, 2026 on the Goa State Portal https://www.goa.gov.in/ Goa Online https://goaonline.gov.in/ and the official website of the Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications  www.dit.goa.gov.in for consultation for a period of 15 (fifteen) days from the d publication of this notice. Suggestions may be submitted via email at di********@*ic.in.

All stakeholders including citizens, industry representatives, startups, academic institutions, and civil society are invited to submit their comments/suggestions  on the Draft Goa Al Policy 2026.

The Department looks forward for valuable inputs from all stakeholders to shape a forward-looking and inclusive Al Policy aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and  the goal of making Goa a Creative and Al-driven Digital Economy.
