15/10/2015 …. In a bid to encourage village farmers for growing vegetables round the year officials of the state agriculture department would hold darbars in twelve talukas of the state meeting farmers and listening to their grievances

Addressing media persons at porvroim on Wednesday agriculture minister ramesh tawadkar said that under the new concept officials of the agriculture department would meet village farmers of the state and try and find out their problems faced by the farmers both in land and available resources for cultivating vegetables round the year to the tune of 1000 tonnes of vegetables in a year

Mr tawadkar said that the idea was to reach towards the farmer who did not need to come to the zonal agriculture office for his needs and infact to help him in his villages for his resources
