Goan Reporter:SPEED BREAKERS NOTIFIED AT TORDA AND MORJIM
Panaji: March 20, 2026:: District Magistrate, North Goa has ordered the construction of Speed Breakers at Torda in the Jurisdiction of Village Panchayat Salvador-De-Mundo in Bardez taluka and at Morjim in the Jurisdiction of Village Panchayat Morjim in Pernem Taluka.
One Speed Breaker to be constructed at a distance admeasuring 15.0 meters away from Three Road Junction near the house of Rajendra Kumbharjuvekar at Torda, Salvador-Do-Mundo, Bardez-Goa;
Similarly, one Speed Breaker to be constructed at a distance admeasuring 10.0 meters away from the centre-line of existing internal road leading towards Malekarwada, Morjim, Pernem-Goa;
Also, one Speed Breaker to be constructed at a distance admeasuring 11.0 meters away from both electric pole and Centre-line of existing internal road leading towards Kancholewada, Morjim, Pernem-Goa;
Further, two Speed Breakers In front of Cottage Supermarket (Both sides) at Newwada-Morjim, in Village Panchayat Morjim, Pernem; First Speed breaker to be constructed at a distance admeasuring 05 meters away from the Cottage Supermarket on the road leading towards Chopdem and Second Speed breaker to be constructed adjacent to Electric pole bearing No.LT 173-5/15 on the road leading towards Ashvem, Morjim, Pernem-Goa.
Moreover, one Speed breaker to be constructed at a distance admeasuring 15 meters away from Centre-line of existing internal road leading towards Vithaldaswada, Morjim, Pernem-Goa.
Goan reporter:CM EXTENDS EID-UL-FITR GREETINGS
Panaji: March 20, 2026::Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant has extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the people of Goa, especially to the Muslim community, wishing peace, harmony, brotherhood, happiness and prosperity for all. In his message, the Chief Minister said, “Eid marks the culmination of Ramadan, a month of fasting, prayer and charity, and called upon everyone to uphold the values of kindness, unity and mutual respect. Wishing everyone Eid Mubarak.”

The Governor, Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju has extended his warm greetings and best wishes to all the people of Goa on the auspicious occasion of “Id-ul-Fitr”.
The Governor in his message said that, “Id-ul-Fitr marks the culmination of the holy month of Ramadan, a period devoted to prayer, reflection, compassion, and self-discipline. This joyous festival is a celebration of faith, gratitude, and the spirit of sharing and caring for one another. It is also an occasion to recall and be guided by the teachings of the great Prophet Mohammed, which emphasize peace, compassion, and unity among all sections of society.”
“May this blessed occasion strengthen the bonds of harmony, brotherhood, and unity among all communities. May it bring peace, prosperity, and happiness to each and everyone, Eid Mubarak!” Governor concluded.
