Office of the Chief Electoral Officer has organised Eco friendly Akashkandil Competition on the Election theme 2023-24.
Registration for the competition is completely free and participants can register by submitting their details/Entries (Name of group, Location, Contact Number) via e-mail ceo_goa@eci.gov.in in by November 8, 2023. The Competition is open for all Age groups and also can contact the event co-ordinator through whatsApp Shri Dipesh Dalvi (9689052423). The participants are requested to submit their eco friendly Akashkandil to this office on or before November 10, 2023.
Prizes of the competition includes cash prize, trophy and certificate. First Prize – Rs. 10,000/-, Second Prize – Rs. 5,000/-, Third Prize – Rs. 3,000/- and Two Consolation Prize – 1,000/- each will be awarded to winners.
The Akashkandil should be made up eco friendly and should be based on Election theme. There will be a panel of 3 judges who will judge the decoration on the basis of creativity and theme. Any criticism or objection by any participant against the judgment or Management on any platform will be reviewed by the Chief Electoral Officer. Participants should not canvas or promote any particular political parties and also personal criticisms and praising should not be done. Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
