Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant released the latest edition of the “Goa Co-operative Societies Act, 2001 (Goa Act 36 of 2001)(Amended upto 2023) & The Goa Co-operative Societies Rules, 2003 (Amended upto 2023)”at Mantralaya, Secretariat, Porvorim. The comprehensive compilation is credited to Shri. N.D Agarwal and published by Ms N.R. Publications, (OPC), Goa.
The event witnessed the presence of Co-operative Minister, Shri. Subhash Shirodkar, Chief Secretary, Shri. Puneet Kumar Goel, IAS, and Director of Handicraft, Shri Arvind Bugde.
The book encompasses all legal pronouncements, orders, notifications, and directions issued under sections 68 and 69, incorporating amendments alongside their respective Code sections. This unveiling marks a significant step towards ensuring accessibility and clarity in understanding the intricate legal framework governing co-operative societies in Goa.
