District Superintendent of Police (DSP), North Goa District, has issued the following prohibitory order to be in force in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Porvorim and Panaji from February 2 till Session of the Eighth Legislative Assembly of the State of Goa, gets over: that no person or class of persons shall convene or collect as an assembly, nor shall take out any procession or stage any demonstration on the road, street or thorough fare nor shall hold public meetings except under and in accordance with the terms and conditions of license issued in this behalf by the DSP and requires that every such person or class of persons intending to convene or collect such assembly and take out processions/ demonstrations individually, collectively or otherwise shall apply to the DSP for a license well in advance.

However, in no case, procession, morcha, rally, dharna etc, shall be allowed within the radius of 500 meters around the Assembly Complex at Porvorim and area under Panaji Police Station as promulgated U/s 1442Cr. P. C. by the District Magistrate, North Goa.
