The Government has introduced four new aided courses at S.S.A. Government College of Arts and Commerce, Pernem for the academic year 2025-2026. The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sports and Science and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biotechnology. In order to facilitate the admission process, a help desk has been set up at the Government College Pernem to guide and help students in the process of online admissions. As it was reported that many could not do the admission process due to lack of internet facility.
The admissions for the new academic year commenced from April 11 on DHEs E Samarth Portal and the last date for admissions is April 30, 2025. The BBA program will admit 60 students while other courses have an intake of 30 students each. These new courses will be effective from the academic year 2025-2026 along with its existing courses i.e. Bcom, BA, and PG in Commerce and Marathi and Research Centre in Commerce and Marathi.
