Micon Warriors Agalli Fatorda downed Setting Boys Areal 4-3 via the tiebreaker to enter into the quarterfinals of the 18th All Goa Rebello Pandal football tournament organised by Rebello Pandal at St. Rita Church ground, Maina Curtorim on Tuesday.
Both teams played attacking soccer and tried to find the winning goal but couldn’t break the deadlock till the final whistle, ending in a 0-0 draw at full-time.
In the resultant tiebreaker, Micon Warriors scored through James, Jayson, Prajal, and David, while Bersal, Ashley, and Adarsh found the net for Setting Boys.
Mohammad of Micon Warriors Agalli was awarded Man of the Match by Joel.
