Verna Cultural Sports Club Verna defeated St. Sebastian YSC Fatorda 4-3 via the tiebreaker to move ahead in the St. Rock’s Inter Village Football Tournament at Majorda ground on Monday. Edgar Noronha gave the lead to Fatorda, which was later cancelled by Desmond Gama for Verna. In the ensuing tiebreaker, Verna proved to be the better shooters. The Man of the Match award was given to Samuel Miranda of Verna Cultural Sports Club Verna.
