Tourism Minister, Shri Rohan Khaunte and PWD Minister, Shri Nilesh Cabral attended Janata Darbar, an initiative of the State Government to reach out to people, organised by Office of the Collector, South Goa today at Ravindra Bhavan, Curchorem. Shri Khaunte heard various grievances of the people at the Janta Darbar and gave assurance to solve the same at the earliest.
Chairperson, Curchorem Cacora Municipal Council, Shri Pradip Naik; Chairperson, Quepem, Smt Suchita Shirwaikar; Chairperson, Sanguem, Smt Priti Naik; Zilla Panchayat Member, Xeldem, Shri Siddharth Gauns Dessai; Collector, Shri Ashwin Chandru, IAS; Additional Collector, Shri Dipak Dessai were present on the occasion.
Addressing the public, Shri Khaunte said, electricity is an important component in every household and urged officials to give special attention to see that uninterrupted power supply gets to every household.
Shri Nilesh Cabral, PWD Minister addressing the gathering said that Janta Darbar is a good platform to communicate the grievances, inconvenience faced in any Government department by the common people. Government is always for the people and said all the issues of the public will be resolved. It is a good initiative to bring people to interact with Government officials and solve their grievances.
