Parish Youth Nuvem defeated Betalbatim SC 5–3 via a tiebreaker to advance to the quarterfinals of the 33rd St. Rock’s Super Soccer tournament, organized by St. Rock Youth Club Calata Majorda. The match was played at Calata Ground, Majorda, on Wednesday.
The game ended in a 1–1 draw in regulation time. Keith Rodrigues put Betalbatim ahead in the 19th minute, while Niclau Colaco equalized for Nuvem in the 60th minute.
In the penalty shootout, Nuvem scored through Niclau Colaco, Leroy Colaco, Alvito Dias, and Drawin Colaco. For Betalbatim, Ashley Fernandes and Alaric D’Cunha found the net.
Keith Rodrigues of Betalbatim SC was named Man of the Match for his standout performance.
