In a thrilling semifinal held at St. Rita Church ground, Maina Curtorim, on Monday, host team Rebello Pandal Maina secured a spot in the finals of the 18th All Goa Rebello Pandal Football Tournament by defeating Dragon FC Margao 7-5 via the tiebreaker.
Wilson, Francisco, and Cyril scored for Rebello Pandal, while Velito, Joel, and Rayman netted for Dragon FC, ending the match 3-3 at full time.
In the resultant tiebreaker, Rebello Pandal Maina proved to be the better shooters to seal their place in the final.
Football enthusiast Seby Dias presented the Man of the Match award to Jordan of Dragon FC.
