SFX Sports Club Camarcett defeated Bhatti United Club 3-0 in the opening match of the 2nd Caniza Peixoto Memorial Football Tournament, organized by Black Arrow Boys Agxem Sports Club and played at St. Alex Church Ground, Curtorim on Wednesday. Anslem Fernandes opened the scoreline for SFX in the 12th minute with a neat placement. Bhatti United’s Ralf Dias came close with a powerful shot that missed the target by a whisker. At halftime, SFX led 1-0. In the second half, SFX Camarcett added two quick goals through James Fernandes in the 38th and 42nd minutes. Bhatti United failed to convert their chances, with their striker missing a key opportunity. Rohit Shet of SFX was awarded Man of the Match by Agnelo Gomes, President of Agxem Sports Club.
