Sinquerim Sports Club emerged victorious with a 4–2 win over DBO Fatorda in the inaugural match of the 24th Vagator Soccer tournament, organised by Vagator Parish Youth Sports Club at the Vagator Football Ground.

Sinquerim’s Saimesh Gaonkar opened the scoring in the 13th minute after an earlier attempt was denied by Fatorda’s keeper Glen Fernandes. Fatorda equalised in the 19th minute through a penalty converted by Velito, but Pratik Tirodkar restored Sinquerim’s lead in the 28th minute. Despite a strong long-range effort by Francis Andrade, Sinquerim held a 2–1 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Tirodkar struck again in the 48th minute to make it 3–1. Richie Vaz pulled one back for Fatorda in the 68th, but a missed chance by Alfred Noronha in the 71st minute proved costly. Substitute Krish Naroji sealed the game with a stoppage-time goal, ending the match 4–2.
