Goan Reporter: Sporting Club Davorlim Edge Past St. Anthony Colva in Penalty Shootout to Enter St. Rocks Super Soccer Quarterfinals

Sporting Club Davorlim defeated St. Anthony Colva 4-2 via a tiebreaker to advance to the quarterfinals of the 33rd St. Rocks Super Soccer tournament, organised by St. Rock Youth Club Calata Majorda, at the Majorda ground on Saturday. The match ended in a 1-1 draw at full time. Calsburn Fernandes gave Colva the lead in the 40th minute, while Alent Colaco equalised for Davorlim in the 56th minute. In the decisive penalty shootout, Davorlim converted through Milton Colaco, Aeron Figueredo, and Prince Figueredo. For Colva, only Kabir Khan found the net. Melchior Miranda of Sporting Club Davorlim was named Man of the Match and received the award from Rocky D’Silva.
