Goan Reporter: Sporting Club Davorlim Thrash UC Benaulim 5-0 to Enter Quarterfinals of Super Soccer Tournament

Sporting Club Davorlim stormed into the last eight of the 19th Super Soccer Inter Village Football Tournament with a commanding 5-0 victory over hosts UC Benaulim at the St John de Baptista ground on Thursday. The first half saw both teams on equal terms, with Davorlim’s Royson Colaco and Velroy Colaco testing the Benaulim defense, while Keegan Rodrigues and Cayden Rodrigues had opportunities for the home side. After the break, SC Davorlim returned with renewed energy and took full control. Striker Alent Colaco netted a brilliant hat-trick and added a fourth goal in the 60th minute. Substitute Neville Mascarenhas sealed the win with a late strike. Alent Colaco was named Man of the Match and received the award from UC Benaulim President Sanford Braganza.
