Goan Reporter: Vijai Sardesai Flags ₹11.51 Cr Pending Sports Grants; CM Assures Release in 2 Months

MLA Vijai Sardesai raised the issue of long-pending sports grants in the Assembly, noting that ₹11.51 crore is due to the Goa Football Association alone. He highlighted delays in disbursing funds to various sports bodies. In response, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant attributed the delay to missing utilization certificates but assured that the grants would be released within two months.
