The Directorate of Art and Culture, is organizing a special workshop on “Visual Comic Story Book” from May 12 to 18, 2025 for the children between the age group of 10 to 15 years at Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto, Panaji.
The workshop is being organized with the concept to introduce the children towards story writing and turning their stories into comic books with the use of coloured pictures and words. This seven days workshop schedule will include lecture, interaction, designing and developing the comic characters, building a story, drawing, drafting, inking, colouring, binding and presentation of the story books.
All the required art material will be arranged by the Department for the participants.
The registration procedure will begin from May 7 to 12, 2025 during office hours. A nominal fee @ Rs.100/- shall be imposed towards the participation and Rs.10/- for the registration form. Only 30 participants will be enrolled on the basis of first come first serve process. Each participant will be given individual attention for executing the story book during the workshop.
