CM Dr. Sawant in his message said, “Ganesh Chaturthi is much more than a festival for Goans. It is an emotion, a tradition, and a celebration of our rich culture. In every Goan home, from the smallest village to the bustling cities, the arrival of Bappabrings with it an unparalleled wave of happiness, and hope. Lord Ganesha is the symbol of wisdom, knowledge, prosperity, good fortune and the remover of all obstacles – Vighnaharta. His presence reminds us to begin every new work with positivity, humility and determination.”

As we welcome Bappa this year, I earnestly appeal to every family to opt for eco-friendly Ganesh idols. Let us choose idols made from natural Shadu Mati (clay) and strictly avoid harmful Plaster of Paris (PoP).”
