Panaji:April 21,2016 … The Directorate of Official Language has announced Bhasha Puraskar 2015. The nominees are Shri. Sadashiv Nagesh Tengse for Durgaram Upadhe Sanskrit Bhasha Puraskar (Sanskrit Language) Shri. Narayan Ramnath Mauzo ( Dnyanpeeth Awardee) Ravindra Kelekar Konkani Bhasha Puraskar ( Konkani Language) and Shri. Audhoot Yeshwant Kudtarkar ( B. D. Satoskar Marathi Bhasha Puraskar in Marathi Language.) The award consists of an honorarium of Rs. 1.00 lakh, Shawl, Manpatra and Mementos.
The recipients of the awards will be presented awards in a special function held on April 27, 2016 at 4.00 P.M. at Kala Academy, Black Box, Campal, Panaji. Minister for Official Language Shri. Milind Naik will be the Chief Guest, Dy. Speaker, Shri Vishnu Surya Wagh will be the Guest of honour and grace the occasion. Secretary Official Language, Smt. Padma Jaiswal, will also grace the occasion.
Considering their achievements service and dedication in the languages such as Sanskrit, Konkani & Marathi, the Government is proud to declare these awards in the public interest.
