05/06/2016 … Goa Engineering College, Farmagudi – Goa is organising an International Conference on “Advances in Concrete Technology, Materials and Construction Practices (CTMC2016)” at Farmagudi from 22nd to 24th June 2016 in collaboration with Government Polytechnic, Bicholim Goa and University of Bath, UK. This conference commemorates the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Goa Engineering College, Goa and University of Bath, UK. This event is also an outcome of our United Kingdom India Education Research Initiatives (UKIERI) Project on “Development of structural concrete with plastic waste as partial replacement of sand” in operation at Government Polytechnic, Bicholim – Goa.
About ten experts in the field of advanced Concrete Technology and materials from India and abroad have been invited to deliver key note lectures. Various researchers from reputed institutes/organisations in India and abroad will be presenting their research findings in this conference. This event will give good platform to Goan engineers to interact with the International stalwarts in the field. More than 150 delegates from India and abroad are expected to attend this international event. A technical exhibition is also planned along with the conference demonstrating latest advancements in the field.
