Governor of Goa Shri. Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju has extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Goa, especially to Sikh brethren on the joyous occasion of Baisakhi. And also wished all those celebrating this vibrant festival across the country and abroad.

Governor in his message said that, Baisakhi marks the harvest season and it is a festival of joy, gratitude and new beginnings for the Sikh community. It also holds profound historical significance, commemorating the formation of the Khalsa, which symbolizes courage, unity and the spirit of selfless service.

This auspicious occasion reminds us of the importance of hard work, resilience and sharing our blessings with others. The festival’s message of harmony and togetherness continues to inspire us to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and mutual respect, he added.

“May this festival bring happiness, prosperity and good health to all and may it further reinforce our collective commitment to peace, progress and inclusive development.’ Governor concluded.
