Dated:- 22/10/2015 ….The Pre-Conception and Pre- Natal Diagnostic Technique (PC-PNDT) Advisory Committee meeting held in the chamber of Additional Collector-I, North Goa District Panaji discussed various measures and decisions were taken to initiate inspection of ultra clinics violating the registration mandatory and other norms in North Goa.
The Chairperson Dr. Shirley Rebeiro, Senior Radiologist presided over the meeting.
During the meeting, the Advisory Committee members were briefed on the minutes of the last meeting of PC PNDT, regarding inclusion and deletion of Doctors as operators in various clinics/hospital as per the intimation.
Dr. Shirley informed that the committee has newly registered Bhagyodhav Hospital at Dattawadi, Mapusa under Dr. Chhaya S. Neogi where in Dr. Sandipkumat D. Bhat (DMRD) and Dr. Poonam Neogi DNB (OBG) designated as operators.
Further, Dr. Shirley also informed that the Dr. Dhulapkar Hospital and Diagnostic Centre registration is lapsed. However the committee has directed the clinic for re-registration.
Dr. Kavlekar Namrala Pradip, DMRD for Vrundavan Shalby Hospital, St-Cruz and Vrundavan Shalby Hospital, Mapusa has been appointed additional operator to the existing PNDT registration. Besides this, the shifting of USG machine from RMD Thane to Azilo Hospital, Mapusa was also discussed.
Regarding Form F, the committee has decided to send reminders to the clinics which have not submitted Form F, which is required document to the concerned authority, failing, which action would be initiated on the habitual clinics/hospitals.
Under Beti Bacho and Beti Padavo activities, the committee has decided to send letter to all the school in North Goa inviting them to participate in various competition to be organized by the PC-PNDT Act Advisory committee to create awareness among the public in North Goa.
