MINISTER FOR WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT DILIP PARULEKAR INAUGURATES ANGANWADI CENTRE AT CURCHOREM

Panaji:  July 8, 2014 ::……….. MINISTER for Women and Child Development, Shri Dilip Parulekar today, inaugurated a well equipped Anganwadi Centre  with modern facilities at Bethmordi, Curchorem in the presence of Shri Nilesh Cabral, MLA and Chairman, GTDC.

 

Environment provides the perfect ambience to all things asserted Shri Parulekar and said that it is important to provide correct balance of things right from the initial stages of the child’s education. This helps attract students towards education and learning, thus molding them to become responsible citizens of the State and nation.  Parents too are encouraged and inclined to send their wards to such centres, he added. 

 

Shri Parulekar appealed to the elected representatives to identify available space within the existing Primary Schools in their constituecies to have such centres for which he assured all help to built Anganwadi centres.

 

Local MLA, Shri Cabral speaking on the occasion said that clean and hygienic environment motivates children to study and learn more.  Such centres will be proposed and undertaken in other parts of the constituency too, he informed.

 

The centre with a built up area of approximately 100 sq. mts. consists of spacious hall, kitchen, store, toilet, veranda and wide ramp built at an estimated cost of Rs. 18 lakhs under assistance from NABARD.

 

Smt. Carmelina Fernandes, Chairperson, Curchorem-Cacora Municipal Council, Shri Pramod Gauns Dessai, Sarpanch, V.P. Xeldem, Councillors and Panch Members were among those present on the occasion.

INDIAN ARMY GOES ONLINE, Online registration for enrolment of officers and recruitment of Junior Commissioned Officers/other ranks in Indian Army.

Panaji: July 8, 2015 …. The Directorate General of Recruiting, Integrated HQ of Ministry of Defence (Army) is On-Line with a new website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.  Enrolment for officers (less UPSC entries) and recruitment for Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) / Other Ranks (OR) in the Indian Army will be ON-LINE.  Based on schedules planned, on-line applications will now be invited on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in for all entries, less those through UPSC.  There will be no more “OPEN RALLY” system, but only on-line registration, and subsequently candidates will be “called for recruitment”.

 Candidates can “check their eligibility” on www.joinindianamy.nic.in and can apply on-line for chosen /eligible career options in the Indian Army.  For “on-line applications”, Candidates should carry the following: a) Education qualification certificates including matriculation certificate. b) Personal details. c) Verification /domicile certificate. d) Have a valid e-,ail id and e) Have a unique mobile number.

  Website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in can be opened on any personal computer with internet facility, cyber café, Central Govt./State Govt. Kiosk like Central Government Common Service Centre (CSC) kiosks.  Special Kiosks at Army Recruitment Organisations (AROs) and Zonal Recruitment Offices (ZROs) will also be available for on-line registration /Provide assistance to candidates.

 Procedure for Applying Online.  For registering online, visit the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and proceed as follow: a)Click on the portion ‘Apply Online’ on the homepage in Officer row (orange coloured) and JCO/OR Enrolment Row (green coloured). B) Fill the online registration form.  Tips to assist in filling up fields have been provided as you highlight each field. C) After filling the form, click on preview and check if all the information entered by you is correct as you will not be able to make any correction after saving.  Candidates can take the print of the details by logging in using the e-mail Id and password.

 Online registration does not imply that the candidate has fulfilled all the criteria for recruitment.  Registration is subject to subsequent scrutiny and can be rejected, if found Ineligible/Invalid at any point of time.  The applicants are advised to regularly check army website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and their mail box for alerts.  The procedure is not open to Nepalese Domicile Gorkhas and Touts and agents have no role to play, and candidates are advised not to be lured by such agents /agencies.

NOTICE TO DAYANAND SOCIAL SECURITY SCHEME BENEFICIARIES

Panaji: April 03, 2015 ….  The Government of Goa has now decided to collect Aadhar Card Number and Life Certificate from Dayanand Social Security Scheme beneficiaries.

 The Aadhar Card if any has to be submitted on or before June 30, 2015 and incase of Life Certificate the beneficiary has to submit a life certificate by May 15, 2015 in the prescribed form (Annexure-D) in Directorate of Social Welfare, Panaji Office for North Goa District or Anganwadi Centre/Village Panchayat or Block Development Office (B.D.O.) and District Welfare Office Directorate of Social Welfare New Collectorate Building, Margao for South Goa District, Anganwadi Centre/Village Panchayat DSSS Financial Assistance will be stopped immediately for the beneficiaries who will fail to submit Life Certificates by the stipulated time.

 The Field Assistants will collect the Aadhar Card/Life Certificate from Anganwadi Centre/Village Panchayats/ Block Development Office (B.D.O.) office and submit to the Directorate on regular basis.

ADMISSION TO SAINIK SCHOOL

ON LINE REGISTRATION OF C-FORM HAS BEEN STARTED IN FRRO, GOA

October 8, 2015….. The ON LINE REGISTRATION OF C-FORM HAS BEEN STARTED IN FRRO, GOAes regarding on line registration of C-form has been started in FRRO, Goa under IVFRT (Immigration, Visa, Foreigners Registration & Tracking) system w.e.f. 25/06/2014.

The registration of C-Forms is mandatory under Rule 14(4) & (6) of Registration of Foreigners Rules, 1992. As per Section 14(4), “Every particular, other than the signature of the keeper of a hotel or a visitor, which is required by this rule to be recorded in the said register, shall be recorded by the keeper of the hotel and in the English language, if he is so able, or otherwise, in an Indian language.

As per Section 14(6),The keeper of the hotel shall, as soon as may be but not more than twenty –four hours, after the arrival of any foreigner, transmit a copy of Form-C ,duly completed from the particulars furnished by such a foreigner ,to the Registration Officer.”

As per section 5 of The Registration of Foreigners Act 1939, “Any person who contravenes, or attempts to contravene, or fails to comply with, any provision of any rule made under this Act shall be punished, if a foreigner, with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both, or if not a foreigner with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees”

In the first phase only the Hotels, Guest houses were issued User ids for submitting C-Forms online of foreigners. Whereas the residents letting out premises to foreigners, the C-Forms were being accepted at Police stations/FRRO office manually.

As approved by Dy.Director BOI New Delhi the resident letting out their individual houses, rooms, flats to the foreigners on rent by entering into leave & license agreement will be issued /approved User ids for enabling them to fill/register C-Forms online of the foreigners

All the residents letting out such premises to foreigners on rent are advise to report /approach FRRO office at Police Head Quarters Panaji along with hard copy of request letter for approval of User id which has to be printed from the website boi.gov.in during office hours to get the ‘C’ Form user registration approved for enabling them to fill the C-Forms atleast by 15.10.2015

It may be also noted that manual C-Forms will not be accepted at Police Stations or at FRRO office Panaji after 15.10.2015.

GCA Men’s U-23 selection Trails

panaji .. 21/09/2017 … Selection Trials for Men’s Under-23 will be held on Friday, 22nd  September’ 2017 at 2.30 p.m  at  Goa Cricket Academy, Porvorim ,Goa .The trials are for the selection of Goa Under-23 Men’s team.

All the players born on or after 01/09/1994 are eligible for trials. All players have to carry their Original Birth Certificate for the selection. All the players have to report Mr.Collin Rodrigues.

FREE AYURVEDIC NEURO THERAPY CAMP AT GOA VELHA TILL MAY 26

Panaji, May 25, 2018 …. Matrubhumi Seva Pratisthan. Goa in association with Dr. Manoj Sharma’s Ayurvedic Neuro Therapy Hospital and Research Centre, Rajasthan have organised a free Ayurvedic Neuro Therapy Medical Camp at Dr. Dhakankar’s Hospital, Pilar junction, Goa Velha. The camp which is open for general public till May 26, 2018, from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00p.m was inaugurated by Union Minister of State for AYUSH(IC) Shri. Shripad Naik, recently.

A team of more than 30 doctors headed by Dr. Manoj Sharma and Dr. Venu Sharma will endow facilities such as Neuro Therapy, Caping therapy, Acupuncture, Acupressure and Agnikarma to its visitors. People can also avail treatments for all types of Neurological problems such as frozen shoulders, cervical pain, back pain, slip disc, ankle pain, migraine pain, vocal cord problem, paralyzes, knee joint pain and tennis elbow.

MLA Shri. Francis Silveira, Parish Priest of Pilar Fr. Britto, Principal of Fr. Agnel College of Arts and Commerce, Pilar Fr. Fredric Rodrigues, Prof. Ramrao Wagh, Dr. Avinash Dhakankar were present on the occasion. The program began with lighting the traditional lamp. Dr. Dhakankar gave the welcome address

Ministry of AYUSH will soon undertake the work of 50 bedded hospitals in each district of Goa to give the best of medical treatments in all systems of medicine,” he said.
