PANAJI PS: Complaint on behalf of the State that on 15.07.2014 at 07.20 hrs., at Divja Circle Junction-Panaji, accused person Gauri d/o Sanjot Borkar r/o Miramar-Panaji driver of  Zen Estilo Car No. GA-03-H-7510 drove the same in rash and negligent  manner  while  proceeding  from new patto bridge-Panaji  towards KTC Bus stand-Panaji and when reached at Divja Circle Junction-Panaji dashed to Passion M/cycle No.GA-05-H-2518 which was proceeding from Ribandar towards Old Mandovi bridge causing  sustained  injury  to the right leg of the rider namely Selisio s/o Anthonio Saldana r/o Marcela. OLD GOA PS: Shri Dattacharan Powar r/o Near Govekar Bar-Merces complained that on 18.07.2014 at 10.30 hrs. Near Govekar Bar-Merces some unknown culprit/s committed of his Hero Honda Splendor plus M/Cycle No. MH-09-BG-3778 W/rs.30,000/- which was parked in an open parking place near his residence. PONDA PS: Minor victim girl complained that in the year 2013 accused person Atmaram Kudchadkar passed sexual colored remark on the complainant and her classmate in the office of the accused person & further uttered a bed words while the complainant & her classmate were redressing the grievances of theft on money purse in the class room. MAINA CURTORIM PS: Shri Umesh s/o Mullinath Satbhai r/o Monte hill -Margao complained that on 04.07.2014 at 08.30 hrs. to 17.00 hrs at Verna Industrial Estate-Verna some unknown culprit/s committed of his Honda Activa Scooter No.GA-08-W-6773 W/rs.50,000/- which was parked in an open parking place in front of Micro labs limited Verna Industrial Estate-Verna. NORTH GOA DISTRICT

PANAJI PS: Shri Mahesh Gaonkar r/o Models Maridien- Dona Paula- Panaji-Goa  complained that on 01.09.2000 at 03.50  hrs  at Panaji Police Station, accused namely1) Mr. D. H. Kenaudekar along with his brother, 2) G.H. Kenaudekar and 3)  Mrs. Anamika Kenaudekar criminally trespassed into the Panaji Police Station and criminally intermediated, abused and threatened  him when he was PI Panaji  Police Station and staff on duty at Panaji  Police station  by banging office tables, demanding  release of two accused person  namely 1)  Mr. Anthony Fernandes and Mariano Fernandes who were arrested u/s sec 151 Cr. P.C. Cr.No.291/14 u/s 353, 447, 504, 506 r/w 34 IPC is registered. PSI B .Z. Pawar is I.O.

2) Complaint upon behalf of the State that on 14.07.14 at 21.20 hrs, near Goa Motor driving school-Panaji, accused namely Vinesh Narayanan P.K. r/o c/o Prince Bakery-Taleigao N/O Kerala riding Yamaha M/cycle No. KL-46-J-1495 rode the same in a rash and negligent manner while proceeding from Taleigao Church to Tonca-Caranzalem and when reached at Goa Motor driving School- Panaji, dashed a Honda Brio car No.GA-07-E-7121 and due to said impact said motor cycle caught fire and was damaged completely and also caused injuries to pillion rider namely Devanand Kumar, age 22 yrs, c/o cafe Azad- Taleigao market- Panaji due to fall on the road. Cr.No.292/14 u/s 279, 337 IPC is registered.

3)  On 17.07.14, one  person namely  Anish Kishore Gadekar, age 30 yrs.,  r/o  Amral Bandh-Taleigao-Panaji committed suicide by hanging near Essar Galaxy building, Amrol Bandh-Taleigao. Dead body preserved in GMC Morgue Bambolim for PME. U.D.No.50/14 u/s 174 Cr. P. C. is registered.

VALPOI PS: Complaint on behalf of the State that on 17.07.14 at 19.15 hrs., near CHC-Valpoi, unknown driver of  truck No. GA-04-T-5410 drove in rash and negligent  manner  while  proceeding  from Honda  to Valpoi and  when reached  near  CHC- Valpoi, dashed to Passion M/cycle No.GA-02-P-9635 which  was coming  from opposite  direction  causing  grievous  injury  to M/ cycle rider namely Shahabuddin Badage, age 30 yrs., r/o  Bhuipal- Sattari and   accused person fled away from the spot without informing police. Accused driver namely Nawaz Shaikh, age 31 yrs., r/o Vaploi arrested and released on bail. Cr.No.51/14 u/s 279, 338 IPC and Sec 134 (a) (b) of M.V. Act is registered. HC-4169 is I.O.

SOUTH GOA DISTRICT

MARGAO TOWN PS: On 17.07.14, one unknown male person, age about 45 yrs, was found lying dead near Raviraj Hotel- Khareband. U.D.No.62/14 u/s 174 Cr. P. C. is registered. PSI M. Culaco is I.O.

July 17, 2014 ….. 1 Goa Bn NCC, Panaji organized eight days of cleanliness drive in St Inez area between  Jul 5 to  Jul 10 and from  Jul  17  to  Jul 18.

NCC cadets of 1 Goa Bn NCC, Panaji accompanied with officials of Urban Health Centre, Panaji carried out house to house visits.

Also accompanied the NCC cadets were the staff of 1 Goa Bn NCC including Subedar Major Kankal Subhash, Training  JCO of the unit Subeder  Balwan Singh & Trg NCO of the unit Havaldar Asmatullah.

 Various breeding sites like open sintex tanks, tyres, buckets filled with water, coconut shells, grinding stones were identified. Necessary anti-larval measures were taken by anti-larval team. Leaflets mentioning do’s and don’ts in respect of vector borne diseases were distributed among locals.

 During this drive 1231 houses were visited.

PANAJI PS: Smt Sangeeta w/o Deepak Shetye r/o near post office Mala- Panaji- Goa complained that on 13.07.14 at 14.00 hrs. at Sensation beauty parlour- Caranzalem, accused Smt Smita  Kanaskar r/o St. Cruz- Panaji criminally trespassed into her beauty parlour with the  preparation to cause hurt  and  assaulted  with slaps, twisted her left   hand finger causing  her injury, abused her in filthy words and threatened her of dire consequences. PERNEM PS: Shri Alberto Paulo r/o Temwada- Morjim complained that on 12.07.14 between 20.30 hrs.  to 21.30 hrs., of 13.07.14  at Temwada- Morjim, unknown culprit/s  entered into his  house by breaking  lock  of main door  and committed theft of  two  cameras make  Cannon and Samsung, four wrist watches, two gold finger rings, ATM Card of Oriental Bank  and cash of Rs.25,000/- all W/Rs.1,20,000/- approx. Cr.No.134/14 u/s 454, 457, 380 IPC is registered. ASI S.  Naik is I. O.

BICHOLIM PS: Victim lady complained that between 13^th June  2014  to 08 July 2014 at Sankhalim, accused Santosh Rajaram Shirodkar r/o Sakhali came to  the her house and damaged plants, abused  with filthy words, assaulted  with  slaps on her  face and  outraged her modesty  by touching  her  body, accused also  threatened  with dire consequence and  further  harassing  her by  making continues phone calls. Cr.No.164/14 u/s 354-A, 354-B, 354-D, 504, 506 and 427 IPC is registered. PSI Y. R. Gawas is I. O.

PONDA PS: Shri Vinayak Upadhya, age 45 yrs., r/o Agapur complained that on 14.07.14 between 13.10 hrs. to 13.30 hrs.,  at Kapileshwari- Ponda, accused Anand, age 25 yrs., r/o Chennai, Tamil Nadu, committed theft of  cash of Rs.2,00,000/- from his vehicle. CALANGUTE PS: Shri Gaurav Gupta S/o Ashok Kumar Gupta, officer of wild life, Crime and Cruelty cell- People for animals- New Delhi complained that on 14.07.14 between 12.30 hrs.  to 14.00 hrs,  at Om Shop- Calangute, upon a  reliable  information  a raid  was conducted and during  raid  items made up  of Skin and bones of snakes, wild animals and  mollusca such as  1)6 ladies shoulder bag , 2)  6 ladies hand bag, 3)  Bracelets made up of  snake bones, 4)  two  wild  buffalo horns big and small , one piece  of snake  skin all W/Rs.2,20,050/- approx.,  which were found illegally  displayed in said  shop  for sale., accused  owner namely Ravi Chawan is found  dealing  in trade of  above items and is suspected  to be  involved in hunting  of wild life animals, snakes and mollusca. Cr. No. 179/14 u/s 44(1) (a), 49-B and 51 of wild life Act 1972 is registered. PSI Pednekar is I. O.

ANJUNA PS: Victim girl, age 16 yrs., complained that between 9.07.14 to 14.07.14 at 16.00 hrs.  at  Arpora, accused 1)  Santosh Gocchi, 2)  Mr. Ghanshyam Shaw, 3)  Mrs. Rubina Jela, 4) Narayan Lala, 5)  Mr. Suraj Raut, 6)  Mr. Shantanu  and 7)  Ms. Deeptimayee Baria all r/o Orissa  brought her for prostitution activities by giving false promises, wrongfully  confined her at  Room No.311,  Hotel Arpora, assaulted  and molested her, accused  were also  living  on the  earnings of her  prostitution activities. All accused arrested. Cr.No.74/14 u/s 3, 4 and 5 of Immoral Traffic Act 1956 and Sect 420, 370-A, 372, 354-A, 342, 323 IPC Sect 4 of POCSO Act 2012 is registered. PI Naik is I. O.

SOUTH GOA DISTRICT

 CURCHOREM PS: Shri Sanjay Gurudas Naik r/o Mirabag- Curchorem complained that on 01.07.14 at 10.00 hrs.  at Cada Hall- Curchorem, accused  Xavier  Fernandes and  Jasasinto  Fernandes  both r/o  Toremol- Curchorem  being owners  of Honda  City car No.GA-06-D-3366, with their  common intention induced him  to purchase the same  and received an amount of Rs.2,82,000/- towards the said car from him,  further  dishonestly  failed to transfer  the  ownership, thereby  committed  breach of trust and cheated  him, further  they  took away  said car which  was in his possession without  his knowledge and permission  from above  open place in which  he  has kept one Samsung Mobile  phone in black color, two  D.Ds ,  counter slip of Rs.5000 of said  D.Ds and RC book  of vehicle No.GA-09-U-3192 and thereby committed theft of above items.
