Rebello Pandal Maina secured their place in the finals of the 5th All Goa 8-a-side Football Tournament, organized by Davorlim Sports and Cultural Club, by defeating Daddy’s Boys Guirdolim 7-5 via tiebreaker at Laymati Ground, Davorlim on Wednesday. Joywin Carneiro opened the scoring for Rebello, but Alerich equalized for Guirdolim, ending the first half at 1-1. In the second half, Rebello netted twice through Caetano and Joywin (who completed his brace), while Guirdolim fought back with goals from Akram Yadwad and Santan to level it 3-3 at full time. In the tiebreaker, Rebello Pandal converted four penalties, while Daddy’s Boys Guirdolim managed only two. Rebello Pandal Maina will face Our Lady of Fatima SC Baida Chinchinim in the finals on 8th June 2025 at 4:30 PM.

Bhatti SC moved into the next round of the Silver Jubilee Cup 2025 Interward Football Tournament after a dominant 5-0 victory over Corjem YC. The tournament is organized by Sporting Club Virabhat at St. Alex Church ground, Curtorim. Bhatti SC opened the scoring in the 10th minute through Ralf Dias, who found the net after receiving a precise pass from Macroy Peixoto. The lead was quickly extended with two back-to-back goals by Aaron Dias in the 15th and 20th minutes, making it 3-0 by halftime. In the second half, Bhatti SC added two more goals through Shavil Peixoto (40′) and Peter Barreto (45′) to seal a 5-0 win. Aaron Dias of Bhatti SC was named Man of the Match, presented by Lewan Castanha, a player from Mohun Bagan.

Goan Reporter: Sinquerim Sports Club Defeats DBO Fatorda 4–2 in 24th Vagator Soccer Opener

Sinquerim Sports Club emerged victorious with a 4–2 win over DBO Fatorda in the inaugural match of the 24th Vagator Soccer tournament, organised by Vagator Parish Youth Sports Club at the Vagator Football Ground.

Sinquerim’s Saimesh Gaonkar opened the scoring in the 13th minute after an earlier attempt was denied by Fatorda’s keeper Glen Fernandes. Fatorda equalised in the 19th minute through a penalty converted by Velito, but Pratik Tirodkar restored Sinquerim’s lead in the 28th minute. Despite a strong long-range effort by Francis Andrade, Sinquerim held a 2–1 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Tirodkar struck again in the 48th minute to make it 3–1. Richie Vaz pulled one back for Fatorda in the 68th, but a missed chance by Alfred Noronha in the 71st minute proved costly. Substitute Krish Naroji sealed the game with a stoppage-time goal, ending the match 4–2.

Goan Reporter: Snow’s Football Academy beat USC Seraulim 7-0 to Win GFA U-17 State Championship

Dominating the entire match, Snow’s Football Academy of Raia thrashed United Sports Club of Seraulim 7-0 to clinch the U-17 State Championship title organized by the Goa Football Association at the Raia Panchayat Ground on Thursday.

Snow’s FA led 2-0 at halftime. Wayne Colaco and Samuel Colaco each scored a hat-trick, while Shaun Colaco also found the net for Snow’s FA.

Snow’s FA missed several early scoring opportunities, with Messi Rebello failing to convert two clear chances in the 6th and 8th minutes. USC Seraulim’s only dangerous move in the first half came from Soham Fernandes, but he too couldn’t score. Goalkeeper Mohit Tete of USC Seraulim put up a strong performance, denying at least three close attempts by Snow’s FA.

Wayne Colaco opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with a header, followed by Samuel Colaco’s goal in the 27th minute. In the second half, Snow’s FA continued their dominance. Wayne scored his second in the 47th minute, and Samuel completed his hat-trick with two quick goals. In injury time, Wayne Colaco sealed the 7-0 victory and his own hat-trick with a final goal.

SFX Sports Club Camarxete stormed into the finals of the Fondegal Youth Club 9-A-Side Interward Football Tournament 2025 after a dominating 5–0 win over Cumborda Sports Club at St. Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Tuesday. The match began with high energy from both sides. Cumborda SC pressed early, but SFX Camarxete’s solid defense held strong. In the 15th minute, Casvino Fernandes scored the opener after a precise cross from Anslem Fernandes, giving SFX a 1–0 lead at halftime. In the second half, SFX Camarxete took full control. Anslem Fernandes doubled the lead in the 35th minute with a stunning strike. At 43 minutes, Velroy Paes assisted Casvino, who dribbled past the keeper for the third goal. Casvino then scored again with a brilliant solo effort to complete his hat-trick and secure a 4–0 lead. The fifth goal sealed the 5–0 victory. Velico Paes of SFX Sports Club Camarxete was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.

Dandolem took the lead in the 15th minute with a goal by Ryan Fernandes. Madel had a chance to equalize in the 20th minute, but Maxwell’s shot was brilliantly saved by Dandolem goalkeeper Vincy Cardozo. In the second half, Irun Hilario scored in the 40th minute to double the lead for Dandolem. Despite Madel’s efforts to fight back, the match ended 2–0 in favour of Dandolem. Ryan Fernandes of Dandolem SC was awarded the Man of the Match by Costancio Castanha, founder member of SC Virabhat.

Snows Football Academy defeated Football Club Tuem 2-0 in the GFA Under-17 Second Division All Goa tournament at Raia Panchayat ground on Monday, securing a spot in the final. Samuel Francis Colaco of Snows missed an early chance in the 12th minute, but the FC Tuem goalkeeper made a good save. Tuem’s Deepraj Dattu Naik also came close but missed the target narrowly. Colaco redeemed himself by scoring Snows’ first goal in the 15th minute and followed up with a second in the 30th minute, sealing the win for his team.

In a fast-paced match, Jesloy Moniz of United Club of Verna and Elton Cruz of Shiroda Youth Club missed scoring opportunities in the first session. Clifton Rebello gave United Club of Verna the lead in the 51st minute, and Fulganco Cardozo doubled it in the 60th minute. United Club of Verna took home ₹1,00,000 and a trophy, while Shiroda Youth Club settled for ₹70,000 and a trophy. Goan Reporter: Cumborda Sports Club Enter Semis of Fondegal Youth Club Football Tournament After Penalty Shootout Win

In the 4th quarter-final of the Fondegal Youth Club 9 A-side Interward Football Tournament 2025, Cumborda Sports Club edged past Novovaddo Sports Club United 4–3 in a tense penalty shootout to book their spot in the semi-final. The match was held on Thursday at the St Alex Church ground in Curtorim.

Despite heavy rains and slushy ground conditions, both teams played with high energy, creating multiple scoring opportunities. Myson of Novovaddo S.C. made several attempts but was unable to break through Cumborda’s solid defence. Cumborda also missed several open chances, and the first half ended goalless.

The second half continued in similar fashion with both teams struggling to convert chances due to the rain-soaked pitch. With the scoreline still 0–0 at full-time, the game moved into a penalty shootout, where Cumborda S.C. held their nerve to win 4–3.

Bleson Fernandes of Cumborda Sports Club was named Man of the Match for his performance.

SFX Sports Club Camarxete secured a dominant 5–0 victory against Eklate Football Club in the 2nd quarter-final of the Fondegal Youth Club 9 A-side Interward Football Tournament 2025, held at St. Alex Church Ground, Curtorim on Tuesday.

The match began with both teams on the attack, but it was Velroy Paes of SFX Camarxete who opened the scoring in the 5th minute, giving his team a 1–0 lead by halftime.

In the second half, goals by James Fernandes (39’), Casvino Fernandes (42’), and super-sub Anslem Fernandes (50’) sealed a comfortable win for Camarxete. Casvino Fernandes was awarded the Man of the Match for his performance.
