Panjim: May 11th 2021::: Congress Leader Adv Yatish Naik has said that the State Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and the State Government must ensure an aggressive vaccination drive to cover our population on the note of urgency in view of the rising Covid cases in the State.
Adv Yatish Naik said “It’s high time that the State Government procure adequate number of vaccines for the people of Goa to battle corona without any further delay. Vaccination must be done aggressively so that every person from the two slots of people 18 years to 45 years and 45 years and above is vaccinated”.
To meet the above objective more vaccination centres must be set up village wise / city wise after studying the population ratio so that all the villages/ cities are covered adequately and as expeditiously as possible.
One can’t understand as to why the State Government could not begin the vaccination drive for 18 years to 45 years from May 1st as announced earlier by procuring adequate vaccines.
The Chief Minister and his Government must put their act together . The constituents of the Government are busy blaming one another to score some political point and the people of the State are minutely observing all of this.
Today 3124 new corona cases have been detected while 75 people have lost their precious lives. These figures are painful.
The Chief Minister must ensure that the State Government act in urgency to procure adequate vaccines and vaccinate all. The Chief Minister must move in the said direction on the note of urgency . The people of the State are observing the acts of the State administration in that regard very closely.
